Staff Development
At St George's Care Homes, we recognise that our continuing success and high standards are linked to the development of all our staff. This development starts from the moment you join our team, beginning with a comprehensive induction programme relevant to your own role. You will then be encouraged to progress in training and development programmes leading to NVQ qualifications for Trained Nurses.

Having our own staff, trained and dedicated to the delivery of training and development programmes enables us to deliver much of our training in-house, particularly as our trainers are also NVQ Assessors. It also means that we can tailor make training and development programmes to meet the requirements of the individual members of staff. This training ranges from clinical courses through to Introduction to Management.

Our ethos is to positively encourage staff to aspire to more senior roles as they progress within the Company. This also applies to anybody wishing to develop their career with us and in these instances they should always speak to the respective Home to ascertain specific opportunities.

Our emphasis on Continuing Professional Development ensures that our staff remain at the top of their profession and that our Clients continue to receive the excellent provision of health care expected from our Company.
