All of the homes are staffed 24 hours a day. The intention is to create and maintain a homely atmosphere whilst
providing a secure environment for the residents. To achieve this we lock all external doors and ensure the
legitimacy of all visitors.
We have a comprehensive maintenance regime which includes statutory testing of all relevant equipment. Fire
drills are held at specific times, complying with legislation. All fire safety equipment is serviced at the
correct intervals by professionals. In the remote chance of a disaster, we always have an emergency plan available.
Each home is registered with, and inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). Copies of the
latest Inspection Reports are available from the Home or from the CSCI website,
www.csci.org.uk.
