Choosing a care home is a decision that requires serious consideration. It is for this reason that we strongly
recommend that relatives, and where possible potential residents visit the home before commencing the admission
process. This will give the opportunity to meet with the Care Staff, the residents and view the home itself.
We also suggest that other homes are viewed for comparison thereby ensuring the choice made is the correct one
for the person concerned.
If having viewed the home and discussed any associated matters with our staff you feel this is the right home
for you then we will be able to assess for admission. One of our qualified staff will visit the prospective
resident and carry out a 'Needs Assessment'. The assessment will cover all aspects of health, mental and
physical fitness, diet, social and religious needs etc. The assessment allows us to satisfy ourselves that we
can fully provide for all the resident's needs and that the resident will fit well within the home itself.
We appreciate that moving to a Care Home can be at times stressful and occasionally unclear as to who to
approach for advice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Home where we will be
happy to assist or to put you in contact with the appropriate person.
